28 Jun July Plans
I want to thank those of you who have been praying for my recent travels. I had a great time speaking at the Greenwood Hills Congress Retreat. I really enjoyed the fellowship – meeting some really outstanding young people.
Over the July 4th holiday weekend, I will be participating in the Indian Brethren Fellowship conference – to be held just outside of Indianapolis. This year’s theme is living in light of that “Blessed Hope”. My portion in the conference will be to hold three workshops on “How to Invest for Eternity” and to speak on both 1) technology and 2) geo-political developments associated with the end-times that are anticipated in the Bible.
The Associates for Biblical Research (ABR) excavation team just completed an important season of dig work at Khirbet el-Maqatir. There were a number of important finds that could shed additional light on Israel’s battles and subsequent conquest of Ai (see Joshua 7 – 8). I would recommend signing up for ABR’s free monthly newsletter to keep advised of the latest discoveries in the realm of Biblical archaeology.
In His service,
Rob
